Trash80 had a good idea to catalog the ISBNs of the various editions of the Apple books, especially when purchasing online from sellers who may not be entirely thorough with the title/edition information.
I had forgotten Amazon started out as a robust bookseller including not just used but old and obscure books.
So of course they have Inside Macintosh.
I recently unearthed a box of pretty much every volume of Inside Mac, editions both old (mostly white covers) and new (mostly black covers).
I was pondering offering it to anyone who would pay the shipping because frankly I am not a dead trees enthusiast and I find the digital/online versions to be not only acceptable but preferable. (Bits I like. Atoms not so much.)
But now that I look at Amazon's prices — spoiler alert: super low — I'm thinking maybe I should buy old Volume II, which as far as I can tell is the only volume I lost (or never had?), and then I'd have a complete-ish set, which might actually be worth offering in some way.
